上海黑金属乐队“墓志铭 - EpitapH”组建于2004年4月，同年7月开始参加本地金属专场演出并不断调整阵容。05年5月录制Demo“死崖 - Death Cliff”。乐队活跃至05年10月止，之后经历了大幅度人员调整，原有的6位成员离开了4位。2006年1月确定了除鼓手以外的所有新成员。06年4月录制Demo“指引 - Guidance”。 06年7月原主唱退出，乐队再次以不完整的4人阵容继续沉寂。

 

乐队目前成员：Guitar - 赵菁菁，Guitar - 陈晓羽，Keyboard - 程亦灵，Bass - 袁曲  （更新截止于2007年1月1日）

 

     乐队主要以中国传统文化为创作基础，内容包括神鬼、历史、战争等等，音乐风格为交响黑金属。

       The Black Metal Band "EpitapH" from Shanghai,was formed in April,2004.Appeared in the local metal stage for the first time in July, with constantly changing its line-up. The recording of demo version of single "Death Cliff" kicked off in May, 2005. Another big change of the line-up took place in the rest of that year, but the final band members were decided in January, 2006. The new single "Guidance" was progressing into studio in  April, 2006.

       The music composition of EpitapH is inspired and themed by Chinese traditional culture, including gods and devils, historic events and warfares, etc, where the musicianship and lyrics are not static. The main purpose is to maintain the true  and intrinsic nature of black metal music as the pre-requisite, along with the additional effects by keyboard, cultivating the atomaspheric melodic black metal. Up till now, Epitaph have 12 complete.
